Ingredients

This recipe uses simple, clean ingredients and is low in oil — using only a minimal amount of tahini with oil. And using a simple powdered peanut butter that doesn’t have any added oils or other unwanted ingredients.

Substitutions

  • You can substitute the chili flakes with chili paste if desired.
  • If you’re not soy free, you can also replace the coconut aminos with soy sauce.
  • Don’t have ground ginger on hand, sub with fresh ginger root.

Instructions

This recipe is super simple to throw together. All you need to do is whisk all ingredients together, and stir in cold water until desired thickness is reached.

Depending on how much juice your lime will thin out the sauce, you may need to add more or less water.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup powdered peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 lime
  • 1 tablespoon coconut aminos
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon tahini
  • 3-4 tablespoons water

Instructions

  • Squeeze the lime over a small mixing bowl. Combine all of the remaining ingredients and slowly add in the water until desired consistency or thickness is reached.
  • Depending on how much juice your fresh lime will provide, you may need more or less water to reach desired sauce thickness.
