Squeeze the lime over a small mixing bowl. Combine all of the remaining ingredients and slowly add in the water until desired consistency or thickness is reached.
Depending on how much juice your fresh lime will provide, you may need more or less water to reach desired sauce thickness.

Substitutions
You can substitute the chili flakes with chili paste if desired.
If you’re not soy free, you can also replace the coconut aminos with soy sauce.
Don’t have ground ginger on hand, sub with fresh ginger root.
