This Ninja Foodi / Air Fryer Ravioli is a delicious and easy to put together appetizer or anytime snack. It uses the air fryer method and is ready in just about 10 minutes.

Air fried ravioli is perfect and yummy appetizer that takes little effort and pairs well with a variety of meals!

Easy Air Fryer Ravioli Recipe

Love toasted ravioli but don’t want all the extra fat? Learn how to make this air fryer version! It’s so much lighter, doesn’t use olive oil or other cooking spray.

This version is made in made in a Ninja Foodi using the Air Crisp function which can easily be adapted to most air fryers.

Ingredients

  • refrigerated cheese ravioli – using frozen ravioli, allow to defrost first
  • eggs
  • Italian style bread crumbs
  • Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • salt
  • garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • fresh parsley (optional garnish)
  • marinara or favorite tomato sauce (optional for dipping)

Here’s what you’ll need to make these delicious cheesy air fryer ravioli recipe.

Instructions

Begin by beating the eggs in a small or shallow bowl until well blended. In separate dish or bowl, combine breadcrumbs with seasonings and grated parmesan cheese. 

Dip the ravioli one at a time into the egg mixture and coat on all sides.

Move the ravioli to the breadcrumb mixture and coat all over. Lightly shake off any excess bread crumb mixture.

Add the coated raviolis to the air-fryer basket in a single layer.

Set the Foodi to the air crisp function and to 390 degrees f.

Air fry for about 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown. You will know that the raviolis are ready when they start to puff up slightly and have a light golden brown color.

Tips
  • If they are overly toasted, the ravioli will be dry and a bit hard. And not very good.
  • Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to work in a few batches until all of the raviolis are toasted.
  • Enjoy immediately with marinara or your favorite dipping sauce!

FAQs

For this recipe, you can use any fresh or store bought ravioli. If you use store bought, grab the refrigerator version over frozen. If you choose frozen ravioli, be sure to defrost it before making this recipe.

There’s some really great benefits for using an air fryer over conventional frying methods. Such as, it’s lower in fat because you don’t need to use oil to cook the ravioli. Also, an air fryer doesn’t leave behind horrible fried food smells in the home. It is something that keeps me from frying food around here! And it is quick! These ravioli air fry in about 5-6 minutes. Easy, peasy.

  • 20 oz refrigerated ravioli – cheese filled if using frozen, allow to defrost first
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup Italian style breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • marinara sauce optional for dipping

Instructions
 

  • Using shallow dish or bowl, add the eggs and beat with a fork or whisk until well blended. In another shallow dish or bowl, pour the Italian style bread crumbs with seasonings and grated parmesan cheese.
  • Dip the ravioli one at a time into the egg mixture and coat on all sides. Move the ravioli to the bread crumbs and coat all over. Shake off any excess bread crumbs.
  • Add the coated raviolis to the Ninja Foodi air crisp basket in a single layer.
  • Set the Ninja Foodi function to Air Crisp and the temperature to 390 degrees.
  • Air Crisp for about 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown. You will know that the raviolis are ready when they start to puff up slightly and have a light golden brown color. If they are overly toasted, the ravioli will be dry and a bit hard.
  • Repeat until all of the raviolis are toasted.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
